Hike at Purisma Creek - Half Moon Bay

Start Time: 10am at the trailhead and 9 am at TJMAX
Distance: 7 mi loop
Estimated Hike Time: 3.5 to 4 hrs
Elevation change: 1400 ft
Difficulty: Moderate

This 7 MILE loop hike has about 1400 feet of elevation and brings us through the breathtaking Purisma Creek Redwood Open Preserve.

DIRECTIONS:
From the junction of CA 1 and CA 92 in San Mateo County, drive south 1.2 miles, then turn east onto Higgins Canyon Road (formerly Higgins-Purisima Road). Drive on this narrow road about 4.2 miles, to the trailhead on the left side of the road (just past the tiny white bridge).

You can also take Main street from CA 92 and pass through down town Half Moon Bay. Turn left onto Higgins Purisima Road and continue for 4.2 miles.

We can have late lunch in down town Half Moon Bay after the hike.
