Get to Know Your Own BackYard: CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point

CuriOdyssey at Coyote Point formally known as the Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education is a Bay Area treasure that many of us went to as kids and is the site of the next Jew's Next Dor Get to Know Your Own Backyard event.
Featuring 25 naturalistic habitats with 50 non-releasable animals native to California, including a bobcat, river otter, golden eagles, banana slugs turkey vultures and others, an aviary, gardens, science exhibits and, just outside the museum, numerous hiking trails.

We will try and meet up at 10:00am at the Mountain View CalTrain station to make it up to the museum in time for the 12:00pm Otter Feeding. From there, we will explore around the museum and, for those who are interested, go on a short walk around the park. Feel free to bring some light nosh with you.

Admission is only $8 per person. Parking is $6 per car

If I can't carpool but want to meet you there, what time/location should we plan for folks meeting the group there?

I'm in the same boat and was told 11:30 at the front door.

Hi Debi, are you here? I went to the front but they kicked me out since its members only until noon so I came to the front by the benches and the fish!

Looks like its members only until noon so they asked me to wait outside. I am at the benches in front near the fish. Anyone else here?

I'll be in front of the Savvy Cellar Wine Bar (next to the CalTrain station) at 10AM, if anyone wants to carpool.

Oh! If we don't need to be there until 11:30, then we can leave at like 10:30 or 10:45 from Mountain View (it only takes 30 mins or so). I'll be at the farmers' market at 10, then, and at the wine bar at 10:30. If anyone wants to join me, you can reach me at (650)[masked] (I don't have a smart phone, so I won't be able to check this page).

The Mountain View CalTrain will be pretty busy since Mountain View's farmers' market is held Sunday mornings in part of the CalTrain parking lot. For those of us meeting at the train station - should we pick somewhere specific to meet? Like in front of the Savvy Cellar Wine Bar or Neto Cafe maybe?

I'd like to meet the group at the place, not the train station. When and how should I plan on doing that?

Since I live in the Burlingame area... how could I not go! It'll be nice to finally be able to attend one of these events!
