2/10/13 GAME DAY UPDATE
Please still do update your RSVP if you and/or a guest can't make it, for the sake of those on the waiting list. Otherwise, we'll make you run laps around the field at the next game you are able to make... just like gym class... =oO Thanks!
Otherwise, just put yourself on the waiting list if you want to play! Things always change up to game time! Plus, in the past, we've always been able to get everyone on a team who's on the waiting list and comes out!
The weather forecast for our game is for warm-ish, clear, sunny skies! It's prime weather for ball-kicking! I checked the field last night AND THE FIELD IS DRY AND PERFECT FOR OUR GAME!
Before heading out, please check back below in the comments section for last minute updates! =o)
ongoing "policy": Girls (this is a kids' game, afterall) are defined as females age 18 and over. Girls may bring up to two girlfriends to the game and have their friends' fees waived their first game. Additionally, girls coming to the game their first time will have their fee waved their first game! Yay!
Our first game of 2013 was somewhat overshadowed by the NFC championships where the Niners made SF proud. But we still had a great time, despite that and our lopsided final score... There was tough defense on both sides throughout most of the game, but then the Hammerfeet pulled ahead and didn't look back. Team Dolores Park Hammerfeet pounded Team "That's What" -She (get it?!?!?! Talk to our resident grad student if you don't...) 37 to 24.
Do you want to spend some time meeting some new people? Does the idea of running around like a little kid appeal to you? Or maybe you want to let your inner trash-talker out? Does the potential of being in a group named "Team Midnight Buffet" or "Team Butt Cookies" excite you? If you've answered "yes" to any of these questions, you need to be a part of our games!
Ball-kicking, base-running, (friendly) trash-talking, laughing, smiling, and f-u-n: that's what we and our games are all about. 'Nuff said.
If you want to see more about how we roll, check out our PICS and REVIEWS!!!
And as a reminder, a bunch of us usually get food and drinks after the game, so keep this in mind as an option!
Please reserve “yes,” only if you’re pretty sure you can attend. If something does come up, don't forget to change your RSVP as soon as you know . . . thanks! =o)
We will post field conditions and/or last minute changes, if any, on game day by 11am in the comments section on the game page, unless otherwise noted, so before heading out, take a look.
