New Moon Ceremony

  • May 1, 2014 · 7:30 PM
  • The Dreaming House

Four days after Grandmother's newness, invoking the Ancestors through the vehicles of Sacred Native song, Drum and music, we gather to pray and plant seeds of intention which take root and grow to fruition within the month's lunar cycle. The ceremony includes the sharing of  a Canunpa Wakan (Sacred Pipe) to request healing for ourselves and All of our Relations.

Appropriate ceremonial attire is required. A feast follows. There is never a charge though respectful donations are customary and appreciated. Please contact the organizer for protocols and further information

    Greetings Siobhan & Mark,

    Everyone is welcome.

Regarding your inquiry, for evening ceremonies, women wear ankle length skirts and a modest shirt or blouse (one that covers the shoulders). Men wear long pants and a modest shirt that covers the shoulders. Look forward to your participation.
