What do you hope to gain from this meet up?

Interesting discussions and meeting like-minded people

What philosophers or branches of philosophy are you interested in discussing?

Heidegger and Nietzsche etc. Favorite Philosopher is Heraclitus-"Man cannot hide from the sun that never sets" Phenomenology is what I find most interesting as well as ancient and pre-socratic Greeks

Are you in the Philosophical Reading Group in SF? The meetings Tom runs, while irregularly scheduled, have leaned on Heidegger and Deleuze. I'm also a fan of Nietzsche and exploring French postmodernists.

Hi Kathy. I've studied with Jeremy Taylor when I was doing my master's at Sonoma State. He has quite a remarkable technique which allows for intuitive leaps, I think. I look forward to hearing more about your experience when we meet in person one day soon.

How you you get to Armando's? I will be driving and have offered to carpool. Richard Horton will be traveling with me? Do you have your own transportation or do you want to ride with us?
