Autumn Harvest Potluck

Seasons are changing, the days are getting shorter, the nights longer and the holidays are upon us.  It is time to gather  together our community for another Sunday Evening Potluck to celebrate the harvest season.  Warm cider, seasonal local produce like pumpkins and persimmons, the changing of the leaves...yes, this is Autumn.  Come share  good food,  some live Music (Trevor has a piano) and special guest speakers.

Sunday October 23rd  6PM-9:30PM

All attendees are requested to please bring a RAW VEGAN appetizer, entree, dessert, or beverage to share.
Bring your favorite plate and silverware.
Feel free to bring instruments if you have them.  ..This means you Brian H.. and who ever else is inspired : )
Performances and musical jams are always welcome.

* Please be reminded to help clean up the wonderful home before leaving.

Come early at 6:00PM if you would like to prepare your dish in the kitchen...

We will have a couple of guest speakers between 7:30 and 8:30.

Our first special guest speaker will be our newest Meet Up sponsor (and host) Trevor Justice:

Treavor is the founder of The Vegetarian Health Institute which teaches people to thrive on a plant based diet and not be vulnerable to deficiencies.  He is also the key coordinator for the "2012 Best of Raw " Awards.  He has generously offered our group a special discount of

99% off the first 15 days in The Vegan Mastery Program.

As the owner of The Vegetarian Health Institute, Trevor has learned a lot from working with Michael Klaper, a vegan MD. At this potluck, he'll talk about a few common pitfalls among vegans and raw fooders. He'll also reveal a few "magic" food combinations you can use to overcome these pitfalls.

Our second guest speaker is Corey Rennell: CoreFoods.com.

Corey Rennell founded the company CORE Foods as a not-for-profit in an attempt to begin to re-engineer our food system to focus on wellness rather than money. He spent 14 months living with 12 tribes on earth seeking the most consistent and enduring human nutrition principles. His first blog entry on the Huffington Post was published last month: The Secret to Nutrition is No Secret.

He has generously offered our group a special discount of

$5 off 1 Case of fresh, raw, organic, local CORE Meals!

Feel free to bring friends.. we are always interested in growing the community of raw revolutionaries.

hope to see you!!!

Hi Jillian, Sad to say, but I missed your last potluck because I didn't get the email. Maybe I fell off your list. Please add me to your announcement list, [masked]. I don't do Facebook much, since it eats too much of my time, but I'd love to hear from you about your events by email. Thanks!

Had a great time! Met nice people, and ate really well. Heard two great talks on nutrition that seemed to enthrall most everyone. I don't know how Jillian could have made it any better. Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
