Job Description
Play a major role in developing a next generation eCommerce storefront for the gaming world. BroadOn Communications is looking for an experienced front end Web developer who can construct robust, high quality web based application front ends in a fast, dynamic environment.

• Three to Seven Years Experience
• Expert skills in object-oriented JavaScript, DOM, CSS, and DHTML
• Strong AJAX development skills
• Experience working with standard JavaScript libraries like YUI, jQuery and Dojo.
• Excellent debugging skills and experience with front end debugging tools
• Understands best practices of cleanly separating presentation layer markup and style from application logic
• Experience with cross-browser development
• Strong knowledge of JSON and XML
• Comfortable working in a JSP environment
• Comfortable with Java servlet development
• Proven record of producing high quality commercial software against aggressive schedules
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Masters Degree, preferred.

Nice to Have
• Server-side development experience with J2EE
• Familiarity with Design Patterns (e.g. MVC)
• Experience unit testing front end systems
• You care about experience but are first and foremost an engineer who builds applications, not a designer
• Understand web page performance and will track down even the smallest inefficiencies
• Like to build and add to existing JavaScript libraries not just use them
• Experience with web application frameworks like Struts, Spring
• Experience with XML parsing
