Grand Canyon Retreat

  • Hike into the Grand Canyon for a Five Day Havasupai Adventure (04/21/2012) or Hike into the Grand Canyon for a Four Day Havasupai Adventure (04/28/2012) For more information send me a message or visit Havasupai is the Shangri La of the Grand Canyon. This retreat will help renew the spirit and refresh the soul as you explore this mystical and beautiful place with a blend of yoga, hiking, meditation, and amazing food designed to nourish and fuel the body. Guides are selected to bring a unique skill or perspective to each retreat. All share the love of the Grand Canyon and the power of yoga that executive director Christy Burnette has instilled in Conscious Community Yoga. Spend four or five days in the remote Havasupai Indian Reservation. This “gem of the Grand Canyon” is home to lush pools, grand waterfalls exceeding 200 feet in height, and tropical foliage. Our walk in offers an easy decent into paradise. Pack horses carry our gear and we provide your lunch and amenities to create a comfortable and relaxing experience. Our days are filled with hiking, exploring, and swimming in crystal clear pools. Daily adventures are supplemented by yoga, meditation, photo excursions, and personal time. Each trip offers a time of “seva,” which means giving back to the community. Projects are selected based on tribal requests and have optional participation. The hikes are limited to 18 people per trip so don’t delay.
