I've been involved in working for social change since I was a teenager with focus on feminism, education and empowerment for traditionally marginalized communities. I founded a young feminists group in my home town of Portland, Maine as a teenager and worked in a peer-to-peer anti-bullying group. As an adult, I work to connect the arts, creativity, media literacy and social change, whether through providing artists from all backgrounds with the tools they need to empower themselves, as a museum educator at the Brooklyn Museum and Rubin Museum of Art, and educating and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs so they can follow their vision and change their communities for the better.
