I'm interested in using my classroom experience and leadership skills to reduce educational disparities and improve life outcomes among underserved children. I would like to connect with individuals interested in improving the reading proficiency rates among low performing student populations. I have a particular interest in collaborating with other social innovators and business-minded individuals to think about how a start up nonprofit can transform social innovation into a sustainable social enterprise.

I taught elementary school in NYC for several years and served as the Education Director at the Boys' Club of New York. I'm now the Founder of the Reading Holiday Project, a nonprofit bringing books to barbershops to help boys read.
