I have spent the past five years of my life attempting to ascertain what, exactly, is the root problem underlying the myriad of others which are all too apparent in the world, and then to come up with a solution to this. To me, it seems that capitalist system is itself the problem, or at least a major component of it. I believe that no amount of collective selfish action can ever equate action done in the name of the social good, in direct contradiction to one of the foundational tenets of capitalism. This belief causes me to be a bit hesitant about the idea of social entrepreneurship as an ultimate solution; I don't believe the design of a system can ever be fixed from within the confines of that system. However, it's probably true that much suffering can be alleviated by the social entrepreneur approach, as it is both more readily attainable, and is a method for appropriating executive power (money) to those individuals who are interested in social good. So, I'll investigate further.

I am a student of many subjects. I will attempt to give the briefest account of my philosophy. I believe that all egos are but cells of the one Man, and that we are undergoing a shift in paradigm, from many single-cells, to one multi-celled organism.
This is an exhilarating crowd to be with, and makes me very excited about the future. I am very much looking forward to attending many more events, and meeting more people than I was able to this time.
