Wanting to lose weight...?

Wanting to lose weight?

with Thom Shillaw

This seminar is about weight loss. Far from waving a magic wand and presenting the latest diet fad, such as gastric band hypnosis, I hope to present a deeper understanding about the emotional factors that influence weight gain and loss, along with practical tips based upon over twenty years of experience, University study, and three careers in related sectors.

From the ages of 18-24, I was a personal trainer. I graduated from University with a bachelor of science honours degree in food and nutrition, and soon after became research and product development manager for the UK's largest nutritional supplement manufacturer and played a hand in the development of several diet pills and shakes. During that time, I was a personal nutritionist to elite world champion athletes, a significant number of which had to adhere to stringent weight classes.

Ten years ago, I made the decision to become a hypnotist and have spent that time studying my craft to the point that I have developed a new field of Hypnosis. During this seminar, I would like to share my thoughts and express my views on an area that is so interesting to so many people.

I can't but agree with you Janie. Had a nice ripe camenbert at the table tonight, had a small piece and that was enough. I wouldn't have stopped until it was finished earlier.

I just had to say that today I did not want any rubbish ie nuts/crisps/diet coke or CHOCOLATE. I normally skip meals and make up with above but today without even thinking about it I had three meals and 9 glasses of water yes I said 9 glasses of water. All day as well I never once called myself fat because I'm not - only 30% of my total body is fat. I don't know where this is going - I only know that today it went brilliantly, thanks to Tom Shillaw's conference last night. I think he might just be pretty marvellous.
