Buffalo Live-Food Jamboree

  • May 17, 2014 · 6:00 PM
  • Raederle's & Jay's

**USUALLY HOSTED BY AARON, BUT this month he had to cancel, to the location has been changed to Raederle's and Jay's place on Utica St.**

3rd Saturday of the month at 6pm
583 W. Utica St, Upper, Buffalo, NY 14213

This potluck party is for those who are interested in learning and celebrating this wonderful, healthy lifestyle – raw foods, juicing, sprouting, herbs, superfoods, and more.

BRING: Bring instruments if you have them and want to play, and enough food for your party. Food is exclusively raw, plant-source only, and if possible, organic.

NOTE: Many people in the community have special eating needs. It is polite to bring salsas, sauces, dressings, etc, on the side! This potentially doubles the things that sensitive individuals are able to eat.

For NEWBIES: If you are new to raw food, bring a bag of organic fruit – a wonderful option!

We start at 6:00pm and will begin eating around ~6:45pm.

Join the fun, bring your friends, family, and loved ones – and celebrate healthy living!

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Raederle do you have a phone number to share just in case people have trouble finding you?

Ish. It doesn't ring. I am a super non-fan of phone calls, lol. I can be texted or voice-mailed at[masked] 3376. It goes to my computer.

Honey is not consumed by about 50% of the raw foodies in Buffalo. If you're going to use it, be sure that it is raw honey and pure honey (no additives).

Hi Dee! This is a good question. I was at the potluck last month and I think some of the desserts did include honey, although I am not 100% sure. I know quite a few people also used dates to sweeten desserts. Aaron may be the best person to answer this question. Do you plan on coming? Are you thinking of making the delicious raw vegan cookies? I would love to see you!

Elena, yes I was thinking of going and bringing my raw vegan cookies. or I guess some people refer to honey as "bee"gan. Will be great to see you too!
