Please join the Buffalo Vegetarian Society and Animal Advocates of WNY for a lecture with Jack Norris, Registered Dietitian and President and co-founder of Vegan Outreach. Vegan Outreach produces Why Vegan and other booklets and their Adopt a College program hands out booklets to over 500,000 students every semester. In 2005, Jack was elected to the Animal Rights Hall of Fame.
Jack co-authored the book Vegan For Life: Everything You Need to Know to Be Healthy and Fit on a Plant-Based Diet. He also writes a a nutrition blog at JackNorrisRD.com. He is the author of Vitamin B12: Are You Getting It? and maintains VeganHealth.org. Jack earned a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Life University (Marietta, GA) in 2000 and finished his dietetic internship at Georgia State University in 2001.
On-line videos of Jack’s talks include Vegan Nutrition: What Does the Science Say; Does Veganism Spread Itself: A History of the Farm Animal Protection Movement in the USA; and A History of Vegan Outreach and Our Influences.
Jack currently lives in Oakland, California with his wife, Alex Bury.
Following the presentation, Jack will be available to answer questions and personally sign his nutrition books. His books will be available directly after his lecture. All proceeds go to charity.

If you and/or your guests are participating in the potluck reception, each person is required to bring a VEGAN dish to share that feeds 6 - 8 people. Please ensure that is it animal free. VEGAN means no beef, poultry and fish. It also means no dairy or eggs. Please watch for hidden dairy products like casein and whey. Jell-o and marshmallows are NOT vegan.
