Saturday Social Paddle

CHANGE OF PLANS! I have texted or called most of you but cannot contact the others without a phone number. We are paddling at Barefoot again. too many factors to deal with the passes during the season. Hopefully this reaches everyone in time.

Okay. New location is set. PLEASE NOTE: Address is not exact. It will get you very close. Use my directions below.  As always this is free if you have your own gear. If you need a loaner I can provide one for $20. MUST RSVP by FRIDAY EVENING order to secure a board.  First timers not encouraged for this one as the boat traffic and tidal flow could play a factor. If you've paddled before, you'll be fine. Please note: I do offer lessons and would be glad to help you be ready for the next Saturday Social Paddle.  We are launching at NW side of the bridge. Note: If you're going NORTH on Hickory Blvd. You will cross over the bridge and park on the southbound side of the road.

Call me to reserve a board and if you have any questions!

Sorry I missed it guys. I really needed it too. But I was in my garage working on my sister in law's car from 9am yesterday to 7:30am this morning. Only took 2 breaks to eat lunch and dinner. Total nightmare. Hope you all had a great time.

Darn, missed the one right in my neck of the woods and the next one is as far away from me as you can get, haha. That's ok. If I can make it, I've wanted to explore down there. Haven't paddled any of those places yet.

There's a great (and FREE!) place to park and launch here: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=26.361205,-81.857787&num=1&t=h&vpsrc=0&ie=UTF8&z=19

if we want to do the Hickory island area. If the gulf is nice, we can easily go from there to the gulf and paddle the beaches of Hickory/Bonita/Lover's Key or if the gulf is rough, we can easily go from there into the back waters and paddle around the mangroves and back side of the island.

True. I've only launched from there on weekdays when there was hardly any boat traffic at all. We can do New Pass instead if you want. Was just throwing that out there. Either works for me.

There's a better chance I can come if it's still going to be in up in Bonita Beach like we were thinking before.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
