Beach Volleyball 2 v 2 Tournament, Paella dinner & drinks.

We are playing 2 verses 2, so you should be intermediate level and above only.
There is a 1 Euro entry fee and all money will be used to provide prizes for the winners and runners up.
The tournament starts at 3pm, teams will be formed by random allocation before 3:30pm. Anyone arriving later than 3:30pm will miss the team selection and will therefore not be able to take part.
There will be two mini leagues of 4 or 5 two player teams, each will play the other teams in their group once. Winners of each game will receive 1 point, losers 0 points. If there is a points tie in a group, places will be decided by the result of the game between the two tied teams.
The winner of group A will play the 2nd place in group B in semi final 1. The winner of group B will play the 2nd place in group A in semi final 2. The winners of the two semi finals will contest the final.
After the tournament, Paella and drinks in a beach restaurant for anyone interested. Estimate 15-20 Euros per head.
Basic rules will be the same as we have played all summer, here are some reminders;
Playing 1 set to 15 points.
Touching the net is a fault.
Hits/blocks can be made with any part of the body as long as it is one surface. Hands together good, hands apart fault.
Cross fingers only on the second pass or 'set'. Cross fingers at all other times is a fault. Accidental 'set' over the net is a fault.

We are going for Paella directly from the beach, whenever we finish. I'm going to shower and change on the beach, so you may want to bring a towel and a change of clothes, if you plan to do the same.
