Extreme Fitness Club - Beach Fitness Class

Each Tuesday and Friday at Queens Beach Sandbox in Waikiki from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm there is a free Fitness Class. This class is run by Randy Morris, the Founder and President of the Extreme Fitness Club. The class is designed for people who want to improve their overall health and fitness.

Open to participants of all ages, this class is offered for fitness enthusiast at every level. The class is based on the fundamentals of “Core Exercises.” Each of the body’s major and minor muscle groups are targeted on a weekly basis. You will have the opportunity to develop total body strength, conditioning, body shaping, endurance and an excellent opportunity to burn more calories than the normal boot camp. The class is challenging and is set in a fun filled environment; yet each participant can workout at their own pace with no competitive pressure added. There are no demands. Working out in the sand gives the participants the ability to push themselves, while adding a “cushion” of protection from injury.

Our group was formed in 1995, with 4 participants, Randy Morris, Keoki Shupe, Troy Hotz and Bert Hayashi. Over the years we have grown and have had as many as 90 participants in one class. We attract athletes from a variety of sports: paddling, volleyball, basketball, martial arts, football, canoeing, tennis and professionals who want to push themselves a little more. Our biggest testimony is that so many of our participants boast dramatic weight loss, lowered blood pressure and cholesterol and a better resting heart rate.
