Monday Night Skate at Spanish River Athletic Facilities

We will be meting and skating in a new location across the road from the Spanish River Library 1501 NW Spanish River Blvd., Boca Raton, FL, 33431 We will meet in front parking lot on the northeast corner of the Athletic Field parking lot toward I-95 and the baseball field. at 7:00 PM and skate an Early Bird lap at 7:10 PM . We'll loop around and pick up the 7:30 arrivals and skate at 7:35 pm. The 80 acre park located on former IBM property now houses several playing fields and a lake with a new smooth asphalt path around the perimeter. This skate is suitable for skaters of all levels.

This is a night skate, with a well lighted path, but we may skate on adjoining paths with little or no lighting. Be sure to bring your blinky lights as this is a night skate for safety reasons, you will want to be seen by others sharing the same pathway. The path is smooth and flat and there is no auto traffic except at the park entrance.

We will do a few of laps around the perimeter then meet at the Boca Ale House for after skate refreshments.

Directions:Take I-95 to exit 48 westbound on Yamato Rd (NW 51st Street) continue about one mile to Military Trail and turn left, follow Military Trail 1/2 mile to next light and turn left onto NW Spanish River Blvd. continue on NW Spanish River Blvd. 1/2 mile and turn right at traffic light. Turn left into the parking lot. We'll park at the end near the northeast corner close to I-95 and the baseball field.
