This is a little departure from our all skate routine. The plan is to meet at Bill Baggs State Park at 9:30 am for hydro biking followed by a skate around the park, a climb to the top of the lighthouse tower and lunch. We will meet at the Lighthouse restaurant in the park.

Named “One of America’s Top 10 Beaches” by the “Travel Channel,” Bill Baggs State Park lives up to its title by providing visitors with the trip of a lifetime. The Bill Baggs State Park features activities such as hydro biking, rollerblading, windsurfing or tanning on the beautiful white sand beaches. The concession stand provides rentals for all your sporting good needs.

Bill Baggs State Park also gives tours of its lighthouse, which is the oldest one in South Florida. Other amenities include pavilions for picnics and a restaurant. Bill Baggs State Park has been cited as a great beach and for good reason…there is excitement, fun and you are sure to have a good time.

Seating for the hydro bikes is limited to 10 available units so we are limited to the first yes 10 RSVP for the bikes. Also available are about 20 kayaks so if you miss getting a hydro bike here is a fun back up for you.

Single person kayaks or hydro-bikes are available for $10.00/half-hour or $15.00 per hour
Double kayaks and double hydro-bikes are available for $15.00/half-hour and $25.00/hour
