Hog Hill Dive-Pompano Drop off

This mystical underwater hill is fabled to be the home of the Hog Fish. We are going to pay another visit with our sharpened spears in hand.  This time we can add Groupers to our fish of interest.  Grouper season is here and we are ready.

Beautiful dive spot full of healthy reef ledge structures, fan tail, gorgonians and Hog Hill.  Hog Hill is a nice little reef mound located southeast of the Pompano drop off.

Jon is familiar with the location and shall be our guide once again to The Hill.  We will park on 2nd street and enter the water from there. Metered parking is available.

BRING LOTS OF QUARTERS!! The meters at location are antiquated. I guess the city of Pompano is a little slow to progress.  You can get quarters at Publix on Atlantic BLVD.
