Let's get some fresh air, enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of spring and bead outdoors. Chanticleer Garden is a beautiful English garden in Wayne, PA sure to inspire and delight all season long. It is one of the best kept secrets in the area and a must see if you have never been.
Since we are dependent on weather, this meet will be Saturday or Sunday, depending on the weather. The calendar item will be updated a few days prior. Feel free to note in your RSVP which day you can attend. Since it is still cool in early spring, to start we will meet 2:00 PM. You are encouraged to bring a jacket, fingerless mitts, and fleece lap blanket in case you are cold. Chairs are not needed.
Behind the main house is a pool. Our meeting place will be the stone table near the pool. The main house is ~ 700 yard walk from the entrance. There is an entrance fee to the garden; a one time pass is $10 and season pass $30. You may bring coffee, lunch and alchohol but you must use the picnic area on the way to the main house. We are a group of intermediate and advanced beaders. Beginners, while not excluded, may find it challenging to keep up.
If you are new to Meetup.com, take a moment to fill in your profile information if and RSVP so members can learn about your interests and reach-out to you online before & after meetings.
I look forward to enjoying this magical place and beading creative with you.
