Are you curious about jewelry making and looking to learn some basic techniques to get started? If so, this free half hour-long workshop is for you! You'll find out how fun and easy it is to create your own unique jewelry, and our friendly staff will be there to guide you along the way.
In this workshop you will learn several basic jewelry techniques such as how to open and close a jump ring, how to make a flat crimp with twisted crimps, how to put a pendant on a necklace, how to use the 1-Step Looper, and the basic construction of bracelets, necklaces, & earrings. Although no pieces will be completed during the workshop, students can stay after class to work on projects in our Open Beading Studio (please RSVP to reserve a spot).
You can bring your own materials with you, or buy what you need for your project from the store.
No previous experience required. Sales Associates will be happy to help you get started in making some simple jewelry projects and answer questions. If you would like more help than that, sign up for one of our upcoming beginner classes or ask us to provide jewelry finishing services (for a fee).
In order to ensure your space, we ask that you register in advanced with us online, in person, or on the phone at (510) 337-1203. Drop-in students are welcome, however we cannot guarantee that there will space. Feel free to contact us with questions regarding registration or class space.
For other events coming up at our store, check out our online calendar:
Note: Our classroom space is limited. If you RSVP yes, and then are not able to come, please change your RSVP on this site so that others may attend. Also, please email your phone number to the event host or organizer so that we may confirm your attendance. We hope that these requests will allow us to keep this a free event that is open to all who would like to participate. Thanks for your cooperation!
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
