How long have you been addicted to beads and jewelry making?

My sister got me started beading a couple of years ago. I bead to give my hands something to do while I'm watching sports on TV.

What kinds of beads/findings do you work with, and what techniques do you use?

I prefer to string beads on fishing line (which requires no additional tools) or wire. I like to work with glass beads, from seed beads to large focal beads. Oooh, sparkly! :)

What do you want to get out of this group?

I still find peyote stitch a nearly insurmountable challenge, so I'm looking to learn that at a minimum!

The statue in the photo is called "Fanning a Twister" and it sits on the campus of the Univ. of Wyoming. I like cowboy stuff.
