Sustainable NREL Walking Campus Tour

The Sustainable National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Walking Campus Tour.

Space is very, very limited for the tour, so register with NREL visitor center, ASAP.

Participants must be 18 or older, a US Citizen, and have photo ID. Space is limited and advance reservation is required. Call Sarah Homes Barba at[masked] or email [masked] to check availability and make a reservation.

The tour is a vigorous outdoor only walking tour so visitors are urged to wear comfortable walking shoes and to dress for the weather. The tour starts at the NREL Education/Visitor Center and includes the Research Support Facility, NREL Parking Garage and the Central Detention Pond.

NREL exemplifies environmental sustainability throughout its operations. Visitors learn about renewable energy and energy efficiency research as well as see for themselves how the campus is demonstrating clean energy technologies, reducing waste and eliminating atmospheric pollution.
