Join me on Saturday, May 24th, 2014 at 9:00AM to ride the light rail W Line between Union Station stop in Denver and the Jefferson County Government Center stop in Golden. Once at the Jefferson County Government Center stop, we'll walk 4 miles round trip to downtown Golden for lunch on the paved walkway heading north. On return we’ll make a sightseeing stop at the Triceratops dinosaur/fossil remains on the Triceratops Trail next to the Fossil Trace Golf Course before boarding the light rail train at the government center for the trip back to Union Station.
Level of difficultly of the paved trail: moderate with steady downhill hike to downtown Golden and a return steady uphill hike from downtown Golden to the Jefferson County Government Center with ~400 foot elevation gain.
Where to meet to start the ride adventure? The new Union Station light rail stop (17th & Chestnut Place) at the multi-modal transportation hub at 9:00AM
