Sue, I have uploaded a screen photo, hope this helps? Ian

      1 · April 24, 2014

    • Martin

Hi Sue, I am a Cranfield boy and looking at the route that Ian is taking us on, if you need to get back then I would suggest going down Court Rd then Rectory lane in Cranfield and walking through marston thrift. You should be able to get back to Marston forest centre from here. Hope that helps.

Hello Ian, happy Easter. Apologies but having not been on a long walk since Old Warden, going to 13 miles will be a bit of a stretch. Doing a couple of 5 milers this weekend to get back in the groove ...

    April 20, 2014

    • Sue

Hopefully see you at the next one Lesley.

    April 11, 2014

  • Jane R.

Ian, to the best of my knowledge the Bedford-Bletchley railway does not have trains running on Sundays but this may have changed.

    1 · April 7, 2014

    • Ian

Thanks for that info Jane :) I just double checked and you're right no trains running on a Sunday! So that is good news!

      April 8, 2014

  • Robbie

    I will be brining a friend on the 27th April if that's ok.plus my dog.if that's ok.

    1 · April 2, 2014

Oops meant to say too far for me at 20km. But hopefully in the future and will free the space up now

    March 31, 2014

  • Ian

Brogborough Hill Picnic Site & Car Park is no more...the new A421 apparently went straight thru it! So we have a new start & finish point for this walk, plus this walk will start a little later as the gates don't open till 9.30am. I am gong to reccy this walk early on 5 or 12 April, as the new route shows us crossing the Bedford to Bletchley Railway Line (twice) and Google Maps are showing A421 still under construction?! So this walk is still happening, just a new start finish point and slightly different route!

Update you all again soon!! :)

I've realised that this is the same walk I did 2 weeks ago with another group so have a good walk

    March 30, 2014

  • Robbie

Is there a post code for brogborough hill picnic site

    March 29, 2014

    • Ian

The nearest post code was for a farm nearby, but before I post this I need to test and will come back to you soon. If I cannot provide a postcode, then I will provide one for a nearby named farm. There are driving instructions, but again, I need to test these before posting. Will checkout during the week :)

    Sounds an interesting walk.
