December Gathering

Getting the Dec. scheduled now so I don't forget to in November. End of Q4 so should be perfect time for a beerfest with good peeps!

Trying a new place recommended at the last get together. Feierabend. Haven't been there yet but looks cool and they have Das Boot!!

    Gang,

It is a group focused on technology but conversations have been interesting across the board. I'm looking forward to tonight's gathering. I'll be the big dorky guy in a grey sweater and I'm buying beers!!! If you don't find us ask a bartender. See ya all there.

The first meetup of this group was filled with "Network Engineers" they all wanted to talk about Servers and Security. I'm hoping this time there will be more Classic Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical etc.)

Count me in! We could talk about conveyance systems and servo mechanisms and set the network engineers' eyes rolling.

To be fair, the "About us" section of the meetup shows focus on Software/Networking/Computer Engineers: "A monthly gathering for Seattle area tech junkies. More specifically, those focused on storage, HPC, and general IT. Industry guys, IT guys, nerds, geeks, tech philosoraptors, whatever...."

While it's still early enough to do something about it: This meetup conflicts with the Seattle Scalability Meetup. They normally do 4th Wednesday of the month, but it looks like someone collapsed the November/December meetings and split the difference.
