Why do you want to become a farmer?

I would love to grow my own produce so I can "can food". I know about animals but need to learn about farming apposed to ranching. My late grandfather was a celery farmer in Arvada, in the 40's-60's. He also grew other produce.

Have you done any farming before? even in your backyard

We have had corn, squash, chilis, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, lettuce & other salad fix'ns

What type of farming are you interested in? (vegetable, fruit, poultry, dairy e.t.c)

All of the above

What do you hope to get from this group?

Information, good connections in a good community, and meeting new people!
