We have many interests represented here. What's everyone thinking that want to learn first? what would you like to see at the meetups?

I'm a complete newbie at this. I have no idea where to get started. Maybe for those of us that are just joining maybe you can suggest books for us to read. I would hate to ask you to start all over again on what you all discussed on your first meet up.
Thank you, Renika |

I'd like to see information on choosing land - what to look for, what can be grown where, irrigation and $$ info - loans, financing, etc.
Yes - I'd be interested and available for a dairy tour. |

I would also like to hear information on choosing land... Also I got a flyer about the Front Range Fruit Growing Symposium happening Feb 23 and 24 - sponsored by Boulder County Extension office... I'm interested in Orchards so I think this will be great... Anyone attended this event before? Or planning to attend?

I just purchased a few acres and am working in setting up a tiny little farm. I'm really interested in learning about permaculture and other organic methods of farm design. I'm also interested in greenhouse usage for extending the growing season.
I'm also thinking about the fruit growers symposium. I'd love to meet up before or after! |
