Mapping Belfast's Resilience

Please join is to brainstorm a mind-map of organizations, projects, networks and other human resources in Belfast that help to make this town resilient. Dr. Denis Wang will be facilitating this inspiring exercise.

Going on the premise that community resilience depends upon systems and networks that help us help each other, how resilient is Belfast, right now? On Sunday, we will focus in on this human aspect of resiliency, saving other aspects (like infrastructure, etc.) for another day. There is so much going on in Belfast--so much knowledge, awareness, skills.. what exists now that contributes to Belfast's resiliency? Where are our strength's as a community? Where are the gaps?

This EMA booklet would be useful to have at the meeting maybe? Hard copies are at the Regional Communications Center off Miller Street (911 building)

I would love to be part of this meeting, but may be on the road, returning our grandson home to Raymond. Will be there if I can!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
