In an attempt to follow the sunshine,

I am moving the Permablitz to this Saturday, May 3rd

from 12:30pm to 5pm.  My address is 108 Pearl St. in Belfast.

We will be working on

:*building terraces and lasagna beds *planting a companion key-hole garden of asparagus and strawberries*building up the walking trail*transplanting elderberries*planting apple tree guilds*and so much more!

Tools & items that may be helpful to bring along

:shovelswork gloveswheelbarrowpost-hole diggerrocks (bigger than a grapefruit)extra plants that you may have too many of such as comfrey, yarrow, tansy, chives

There will also be two permaculture teaching sessions

: *resilient cooking with a solar oven *apple tree guild planting

We will have a fun-filled celebration with a potluck and music @ 4:30pm so bring a dish to share!  If you have an instrument that you enjoy playing, bring that along as well.

We have a lot of fun mud to play in, so bring the kids and a change of clothes!

Happy, enthusiastic group! Met new friends, learned about apple tree guilds. Did some prep work for the strawberry asparagus beds! I can't wait for the next one and wish I could have stated longer.

Sasha, I may be working with a friend doing landscape design, but if we get done we will come. Hanlon's Dad is here so they might both show up…or not..we can let you know later. But the new timeslot is not a problem.

Sunday is rain and Saturday is slated to be sunny... should I swap days for the blitz?

We need some practice keeping a conversation thread going within a conversation! Lol! I should've replied to Sasha's question, rather than commenting! Anyway, Kathleen and I can both come on Saturday!
