The healing music concert with the aquatic image -Water and repose-

  • Apr 29, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • Chapel of St. Ignatius

The Northwest Zen Community invites you to attend a special evening with Mr. Hiroshi Takano, aquatic photojournalist from Japan. The program will feature a musical performance crafted by Takano and accompanied by his photographs, called "Hiroshi Takano Photo Concert" focusing on "City and Shore: Life, Love, Water and Ecology." Takano's work is an inspiring visual and musical meditation on the power of water in this time of ecological crisis, urging us to see water as a blessing and to care more seriously about it. His concert is both a requiem for the current state of the world's waters as well as a call for the regeneration of our desire for oneness with both water and each other. This performance will take place in the Saint Ignatius Chapel on the Seattle University Campus on Monday, April 29, 2013, at 7 PM. Admission is free and all are warmly encouraged to attend.
