Welcome to Raq Your Shimmy Cardio Belly Dance!
This is an all level class, geared to start your day with a great work-out while learning the foundation movements and footwork of Belly Dance. Styles touched upon are Classical Egyptian, Tribal and Modern Fusion.
Class is geared toward developing body awareness, strength and flexibility. Students will come away with a working knowledge of internal, external, and structural movement in Belly Dance. Plus musicality which includes the use of basic finger cymbals, and choreography which is used as a learning incentive, something to show for all your hard work.

Form fitting work out wear is preferred in this class
No shoes are required however if you wish, please wear flat dance shoes or sandals.
Hip scarves and finger cymbals are available or you are welcome to bring your own.
