The Bandits Women’s Hockey Team is looking for players.

We are a recreational women’s travel team playing in the Mid Atlantic Women’s Hockey League. We play teams in VA, MD, PA, and NJ. Typically, this amounts to 2-3 travel weekends per year.

Games are on Saturdays or Sundays, and practices are 3 weeknights per month (September thru Feb). We will have home games at Ballston (Kettler Ice Center in Arlington, VA).

Our players range in age and experience, from the 20’s and up. We are a very friendly and enthusiastic team and have been playing together for the past 4 seasons. In that time we have developed a great team atmosphere. We have a lot of fun as a team both on and off the ice. In our team philosophy, we emphasize team harmony, fairness, and transparency.

We play in the mid-skill level “C-league.” There are opportunities available for full time players or skaters interested in participating in practices to improve their skills.

Our next practices are Monday Sep 21st and Mon Sep 28th, both at Cabin John Ice Rink, 8-9:15 PM. Please bring $25 if it's your first time skating with us.

From October through February (the rest of the season) practices will be Sundays at Ft. DuPont in Washington DC, 7:30-8:50 PM. Games will also be on weekends.
