Marion Lake and Marion Mt are on the west side of Mt Jefferson Wilderness off Hwy 22. If we make it to the summit for the views than the hike will be 11.2 miles and 2000ft elevation gain. Part of this hike is in the 2003 burn. If we get stuck in down trees or snow than there are 2 other trails to do from the lake. We might see Rhodes and bear grass. There is a stream, waterfall, views of Mt Jefferson and Three Finger Jack and Lake Ann. Please bring $4 for gas money, lunch, water, bug spray, sunscreen, 10 essentials, NW Forest Pass, hiking poles and wind layers. It will be cooler and than in Bend. The sky is supposed to clear by afternoon. Restroom is at the trailhead. No dogs or guests please. When you RSVP for an event, you have agreed to the Release of Liability found on this website under tab Pages.

Directions: If you meet at the TH: Take Hwy 20 west past Sisters and Santiam Pass. Go right at Y towards Detroit/Salem on Hwy 22. About 16 miles(milepost 6) then Turn right onto Marion Creek Road 2255 to the end of the road and park.

One of my new favorites. I would go back there again and I think explore some of the other trails in that area. Great company made for a perfect day. Thanks for hiking with me.

THANK YOU! It may be a great place to set up a base camp and do some long day hikes. There appears to be plenty of great areas.

Yes, when the snow melts on the crest and the bugs go away. You could do a base camp or make backpacking loops over the crest or do 8 lakes basin.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
