Is anyone using Arduino for homebrewing yet? Curious! Other than that... I'd like to gain a better understanding of power usage and requirements, as well as properly stepping down DC power. Also, implementing a relay circuit that will drive a linear actuator of[masked] amps, continuous, is on my radar; I'm using a motor-shield for now, and it works, but it's overkill. I've worked with most of the basic sensors including humidistat, laser, RTC, & RGB LCD, and am able to write non-blocking code, so I'm not a total newbie, but not a guru either. I weirdly enjoy finding ways to tighten and slim down sketches to pack in more features -- 32k is a fantastic challenge on the Uno! I also like sharing what I've learned and demonstrating new and better ways to achieve results.
Searched the net for Arduino and brewing... somehow I landed here.
Arduino has changed the way I look at everything and I find time to get my hands on one almost every day. A simple proof of concept can be just as fun as a well-planned project and I've greatly enjoyed the platform for making things happen.
