I'd really like to learn how to use Arduino to make a control panel that communicates wirelessly to various sensors, showing real-time data of all kinds. Like simple, wireless analog and digital gauges that show temperature, pressure, speed, RPM, and distance. And have them controlled not by smartphone but by good, old-fashioned knobs, buttons and switches. Oooo! ....and maybe be able to wirelessly control various AC power outlets in the house according to a schedule, or by throwing another custom knob, button or switch.
Through the Central Oregon Makers, which I'm very happy to have found and become a part of recently.
Interested in learning more about Arduino and what kinds of things can be done with it. I'm already a big fan of Central Oregon Makers and I see this Arduino business overlapping my interests in tech, making stuff, and turning ideas into things.
In a word: Inviting! Everyone was very friendly and quick to welcome me and answer a bunch of dumb, new-guy questions. I had a great time.
