Thanks for the advice to the group. I am biased to go with the redboard kit for the library project. It looks like a great deal. BTW, I haven't heard from Jim Boeddeker or TechSpace since the presentation.

Did you know that we have gained 6 or 7 new members for the Arduino group just in the last couple of weeks.? We are currently up to 64!

As you may have seen, I am going to start a new beginners class early next month and limit it to 10 participants.

And for any newcomers, this would be a great opportunity to buy a kit to get started. If you are not familiar with Sparkfun, the have made their own board called the RedBoard,, which is compatible with the Arduino Uno. If you are just getting started, any kit with a RedBoard would be good.
