"New Years Eve" Daytime MTB/Cross Intermediate Ride

This will be mostly a paved road ride with some extensive dirt sections. We will go out to Shevlin Park, Johnson Rd, Tumalos res. Rd, Mock Rd, Pinehurst, Gerking Mkt, Innes Mkt, Hwy 20, Brandywine, Sisemore, Tumalo Res, and the back the way we came.

This will be a no drop moderately(for a cross bike) paced ride. This should be doable on any bike. I will be on a mountain bike. If you want a harder ride ride a MTB. Middle ride= cross bike. Easy ride= road bike(with durable tires). If your name is Pat you are strong enough for this ride. Should be 3 hrs so bring some food and water. I am not sure how many miles this is but I hope it is around 30. If not we may have to make some adjustments to the ride if we are going over or under time.

*Rules of the Rides*

Durnit, bike problem. Why do I always end up at work on my day off, fixing my bike? :-)

Thanks David for leading a great ride. The attendee list was bit scary indeed! Great pace for the mere mortals...

Hey y'all, we should probably park on the street if your driving. Not on Sunnyside's customer spots. They are having their annual sale by the way:) Looks like a relatively warm day!

    David,
Are the unpaved sections ride-able on a road bike?

Yes, maybe not the uber light race day tires, but yes...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
