Intermediate Peterson Ridge Trail Mountain Bike Ride

The Peterson Ridge Trail is generally easy with moderate difficulty sections in some locations and gains elevation as it heads south.  There are a few small, rocky sections (both up and downhill), a few short climbs, miles upon miles of flowy singletrack, and some pretty amazing viewpoints - depending on cloud cover, of course.  Come join your fellow BACE riders for a fun day on the trails!

Ride Rating & Length - Intermediate , 17-19 miles.  Refer to the Trail Difficulty Rating System guide in the "More" tab under "Files" if you'd like additional detail, or feel free to contact me directly through the Meetup site.

Endurance Rating - Intermediate

Pace - Steady, moderate pace with stops at major intersections and viewpoints.

For those meeting in Sisters instead of the Cascade Village Starbucks, we'll meet at Village Green park to ride over to the trail head.

After the ride, we'll likely gather at Three Creeks Brewing for a discounted beverage and perhaps some food.

PLEASE NOTE: As the weather can change quickly at this time of year, please be sure to check back before the ride to see if there are any changes.  Provided the ride is a 'go', remember to dress warm and layer.

Easy / breezy was good - Thanks Siobhan. My wife found a GPS unit on the trail out there today. Any body know a good place to post a lost and found notice for such an item?
