Re: [Bend-Area-Cycling-Enthusiasts] South Lake Tahoe week planning

Favorite road  ride is  from Squaw Valley, along the path of the Truckee river, then down the west shore of the lake, then  west and  upwards into Blackwood Canyon, which has a 2000 vertical gain in about four miles.  This has very minimal traffic and is gorgeous with the Canyon, lake and river, all three!

If you all have questions about Tahoe, it is in my back yard and I     am there a ton .  I am a north shore guy, but know about the south too.  And know a lot of the Tahoe menu as far as activities, biking, hiking, paddle boarding ,nordic skiing,  etc.  Jon  Webb   [address removed]   Oh ya, and we are in a really yucky drought with Royal Gorge having maybe six inches of snow for Nordic....... or even less.....

I would like to schedule a meetup for those that are going or those imterested in going to Tahoe. I picture this as a planning session that could be at a restaurant/bar or at someone's house. Where do you think we should do this and when? I would like it to be a time when everyone that wants to go is available. I guess kind of soon is a good idea as reservations could be made early. What do you all think?
