Whiskey, my middle dog, is my most active dog who loves socializing. He's a beautiful mix with blond/red fur and pointy ears. He's completed three positive training classes and graduated at the top of his class each time. He's done some agility work and really loved it when hot dogs were involved. He would love to earn his CGC title and meet other dogs for fun and adventures. I also have a Toy Poodle who would really like to meet other small dogs. She dreams of one day visiting Paris. My biggest dog is a tri-pod Rottweiler mix. He prefers to take things at his own pace when getting to know other dogs and would love to find a Nosework class where his disability won't get in the way of having fun.
Whiskey loves the social scene and would love brewery visits, urban adventures, and loves to be the subject of photographs. He is fascinated by the wildlife here so any type of hiking would be great. I'm not as athletic as Whiskey would prefer. I have seen urban agility and think that would also be fun. My entire family are advocates for rescue and adoption so bringing adoption events to unexpected places to reach folks who may not have thought of adoption is always exciting. (I recently wrote a book "Mall Dogs: Love and Adoption at a Retail Animal Shelter" about Albuquerque's incredible city adoption facility in the Coronado Mall. It's a wonderful model for a successful municipal adoption facility.)

Hi! My name is Jessi and I'm mom to three wonderful adopted dogs. I've been involved with animal welfare as a volunteer/advocate for a long time and am happy to meet others who love animals and recognize how important they are.
Lots of fun with sweet pups and their humans.
