Critique and Sharing - Cell Phone Pictures

Jill's idea: the ubiquitous cell phone travels with many of us wherever we go. It is this fact that makes it the camera of choice for many individuals in this day and age.

The goal: submit shots worthy of printing and framing. Aspire to this ideal. Pay close attention to the subject and composition. Remember the flash can add another interesting element to your shots.

Send no more than two (2) photos as attachments to [masked] no later than 48 hours before the Meetup. I’ll respond via email to let you know I received them. If you don’t hear from me saying I received your photos, please let me know ASAP. Please don't wait till the last minute. And large files look best on the screens we use.

Some very good photos were shared and I like to think we all learned more about the strenghts and weaknesses of cellphone cameras.

It looks like I will be out of town for work on the 5th and will not be able to attend.

Sorry Randy. Wish I could choose a date when everyone could be there. It's just not possible!

The ideal with all our critiques is to shoot new photos for the theme. Shooting fresh images starts the creative process and allows us to use things we might have learned from recent Meetups, reading or experiences.
