Announcing a new Meetup for Bend Photographers Group!

What: National Geographic: The Versatile Travel Photographer

When: Sunday, February 28,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
SF Art Institute
800 Chestnut St
San Francisco, CA 94133

This came across my inbox this morning, and I thought some of you might be interested. San Francisco is the closest location, but there are other seminars around the country if you're already planning a trip somewhere.

The Versatile Travel Photographer

"Great travel photography requires a command of several types of photography, including portraits and candids of people, nature/landscapes, festivals/celebrations, and architecture/cityscapes. Join National Geographic Traveler photographers Ralph Lee Hopkins and Bob Krist as they show you how to add depth and ?local color? to your travel photography by incorporating all of the elements above. Simple tricks for using flash to expand when and where you can shoot will also be discussed as well as recording audio so you can produce multi-media slide shows of your work."

Cost: $195 (includes lunch)
