Crater Lake. 11-11-10. How many people have taken this exact same shot? Countless, I imagine. Note the blowing snow kicking up in the foreground. 22 degrees F and a bit "breezy".

    Yikes...22 degrees and windy! Hope you cozied up next to a fire shortly afterward! As you say, this shot has been done many times, but I agree the blowing snow and crispness of it make it interesting. The movement of water almost makes it look like the ocean. I usually see Crater Lake when it's very still and glass-like.
