This is two polystyrene 'peanuts' (styrofoam) set one on top of another to mimic a mushroom form, set atop a lotus seedpod, to mimic a damaged planet, with moving tin foil in the background to mimic some type of clouds or cosmic storm.
The Bend Photography Group began in 2008 as a focal point for local, aspiring photographers to come together to share, learn, network and explore their passion for photography. We are a group primarily for amateur photographers and/or serious hobbyists, but no one is excluded. One goal is to have a monthly critique of our photos, so that we can learn both the technical and artistic aspects of photography. The interesting photo shoots will still continue. We hope to foster learning through the shooting, sharing and discussion of our photos with each other.
What we’re not:
The group is not an on-line photo album service where you can post your everyday snapshots. There are other wonderful venues online for that. We do have online albums for photos related to our critiques and shoots. We are not a group for commercial photographers to advertise their products and services. We are also not a group for people to join for the sole purpose of posting a link to their businesses website and saying, "Call or email me."
If this group sounds like it might be a good addition to your life, join the group, grab your camera, and get to know us.
