Hmmm.. Interesting. Looks like the car is a negative. I never saw this..

Right you are Aaron, I wasn't coming up with anything noteworthy, so I just turned it into 'play' by making the car a negative and bringing in the goat from the other side of the building. Not that my 'playing' created anything worthwhile--sometimes (many times) I just get goose eggs, but I still wanted to share for (smile).

Like many things, it's not that difficult once you know how. In this case I utilized photoshop although I've done similar things in the darkroom. First I duplicated the base layer, then on the copy layer selected the car, feathered the edges, inverted the selection, erased the balance of that layer. Then deselected, inverted what was left of that layer (the car) and it became a negative. I pulled the goat in from another image and stuck it on a third layer between the other two so it would be behind the car. If you're familiar with Photoshop, this probably makes sense--if you're not familiar with Photoshop, it probably sounds like gibberish and won't be very helpful, but I'd be happy to show you.

Thanks for explaining, mick. So appreciate it, and yes it makes total sense. Thanks again. I'll have to try that.
