Macro Experiential Workshop

Share
July 2010. Another thing you can shoot. It almost happens on its own when you're shooting flowers! ISO 200, 1/800 sec, f/8. I needed more depth of field, but it landed, I got one shot and it was gone.

The detail is amazing. The separation of the head and body, as revealed in the shadow, duplicates the detail. With human size shadows cast by humans they typically start getting fuzzy, but this fly is sharp even in the shadow.

Love the iridescence on the fly's wings !
