Swap stories with the residents of Whispering Winds Retirement Home

We will form our circle with any residents that attend. If they would like to tell tales we will just listen but please come with a story to tell in case they decide to be an audience. We'll meet at Whispering Winds. If you can't be there by 6PM come as soon as you can get there.

The residents were very receptive to the idea of sharing stories with us. Several came with stories to tell. They are hoping we can come again - maybe in the afternoon instead of evening. It was quite a lot of fun.

Regrettably I have been down and out with a virus and lost my voice. Wouldn't be good to expose the seniors to my illness or anyone else for that matter.

    Next time.

I'd love to be there but will be returning my daughter to college in Boise on that date. Hope it goes well and we can do it again someday, as would love to share my grand father's stories with them and see what we might hear it return. It is said in Africa "When a man dies a library burns". We need to hear these stories while we can.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
