Interesting video by Rand Paul. It may not be as "non-interventionist" as some might like, and I don't agree with everything he says, but there's alot of good points he makes. The best one is probably the general statement that we have to deal with the world as it is, not as we wish it existed.

Two weeks ago I delivered a foreign policy lecture at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C.
As I said during my speech, it's time for all Americans - especially conservatives - to become as critical and reflective when examining foreign policy as we are with domestic policy .
I believe what the United States needs now is a foreign policy restrained by Constitutional checks and balances.
A more restrained foreign policy is the true conservative foreign policy, as it includes two basic tenets of true conservatism: respect for the Constitution and fiscal discipline.
Over the next several months, I hope to spark a national debate among conservatives about the importance of returning to a Constitutional foreign policy.
I believe that's best way to make our nation safe, strong and secure for future generations of Americans.
